Wyoming Gun Owners has been working around the clock for almost a month as we surveyed every legislative candidate in the state, asking them where they stand on the important Second Amendment issues of the day.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been broadcasting the results of this program on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Our goal is simple: we want to get as much information as possible into the hands of WYGO members and other gun owners so that you have the information you need to make an informed decision during the upcoming August primary election.
With the primary right around the corner, we are now releasing video reports via email, highlighting a specific race where there is a clear difference between the candidates where your gun rights are concerned.
Sure, not all of these videos will be about your district.
But even if they don’t involve your district, I would encourage you to watch these so you can understand just how anti-gun so many incumbent Republicans are right here in Wyoming.
Today’s video report highlights Senate District 26, in Fremont County. This is an open seat primary (Senator Bebout is not seeking reelection) between Rep. Tim Salzar and Michael Bailey.
Bailey refused to complete his WYGO candidate survey, and refused to tell us where he stands on guns. But Tim Salazar is the reason why we enjoy Stand-Your-Ground law here in Wyoming! Tim’s a proven leader who continues to fight for gun rights to this day.
But don’t take our word for it. Watch the video report that we have prepared on this race for the details (bill numbers, dates, amendment numbers) and then make your own decision.
Now that you have the facts, I hope you’ll do two things immediately.
First, share this video on your social media platforms to help us get the word out to more gun owners.
Second, if you know people in this district, make sure to send this video to them specifically, so they can make an informed choice during the August primary.
The fight for our precious Second Amendment has never been hotter here in Wyoming! The liberal left has teamed up with the moderates in Cheyenne and they are determined to hammer away at our gun rights until we’re the next Colorado.
This is our chance to fight back!
WYGO is spending heavily right now on digital ads, direct mail, and more, trying to inform gun owners in over a dozen targeted districts.
For Wyoming,

P.S. In Wyoming’s open Senate District 26, Tim Salazar has a proven history of fighting for gun rights, delivering Stand-Your-Ground law in 2018.
Michael Bailey, on the other hand, is refusing to tell gun owners where he stands on our Second Amendment freedoms!
For all of the information that we’ve compiled on this race, watch WYGO’s video report now!
Then please make an urgent donation to guarantee that WYGO has the resources we need to expose anti-gun moderates like this all over our state!
