Earlier this year, Joe Biden passed a massive gun control bill that gave him and the Department of InJustice $750,000,000 to use to bribe the states into passing ‘Red Flag’ laws.
As you know, ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ legislation allows almost anyone to claim that you may be dangerous, and when the judge agrees, he’ll order the seizure of your firearms and ammo.
What makes ‘Red Flag’ laws so terrible is that they allow these seizures to happen BEFORE you have been arrested, charged, or convicted of anything!
And with the automatic renewal process that is built into these ‘Red Flag’ laws, if you are ever successfully targeted with one of these seizure orders, they often result in a lifetime gun ban!
The bottom line is that ‘Red Flag’ laws give the Radical Left exactly what they’ve always wanted: the ability to disarm the American people through bureaucratic processes, free from the constraints of ‘due process rights.

That’s why Wyoming Gun Owners will be leading the fight to ban ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ here in Wyoming!
I would like to think that ‘Red Flag’ legislation would be dead on arrival in Cheyenne. After all, WYGO members have crushed similar legislation for several years now.
But you and I know that the caucus ‘leaders’ we have here in Wyoming would be Democrats in any other state, and with Biden’s DOJ literally waving tens of millions of dollars in their faces, ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ are a threat we MUST guard against!
And that goes doubly true if we experience a mass shooting.
And rather than sit back and wait for something to happen and then try to defeat ‘Red Flags’ when the momentum is stacked against us, WYGO is working to totally outlaw them in Wyoming!

Specifically, WYGO’s legislation would:
>>> Define a ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ as an order to confiscate firearms (or accessories) from anyone before they’ve been convicted of a crime and declared a ‘prohibited person.’
>>> Forbid the reception or use of federal money to enforce a State/federal/judicial ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ order against anyone here in Wyoming.
>>> Legislatively ban ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ in Wyoming.
>>> Provide legislative teeth that would enable a Wyomingite to sue any municipality or law enforcement agency that violates this legislation and enforces federal ‘Red Flag’ laws.
This is how we defend gun owners from ‘Red Flag’ laws, while also sending a message to Joe Biden that Wyoming rejects ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ legislation!
But first, we need to pass the bill into law. And the RINOs in Cheyenne –- even though their ranks have been lightened after the August primaries — are going to work to stop it.
