Whereas: The Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) would protect gun owners in Wyoming by instructing our cops to enforce Wyoming law when it comes to firearms, meaning the feds can’t use them to enforce federal gun control; and
Whereas: SAPA passed the Wyoming Senate by a vote of 29-2 and the Wyoming House by a vote of 53-7, meaning it has almost universal support from the Republican caucus in both chambers; and
Whereas: SAPA also protects Wyoming cops who do not want to be put in a position of having to enforce federal gun control law or lose their job; and
Whereas: Gun owners spoke very loudly in the primary last year, electing candidates who were willing to fight for gun rights, and removing incumbents who would not.
Therefore: As a voter in Wyoming, I am urging you to sign SF-196 into law today!
