The 2022 session of the Wyoming Legislature will be kicking off very quickly, and caucus leaders are already deciding on what their priorities will be for the year.
That’s why it’s critical that you sign your petition right away, calling on your State Representative and State Senator to pass the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) this session!
While it’s fun to watch much of Joe Biden’s legislative agenda collapse under the weight of its own insanity, the fact of the matter is that political pressure can’t stop Executive Orders.
And sometime early in 2022, we expect that two of Joe Biden’s tyrannical Executive Orders attacking our gun rights will take effect.
Biden’s first order will make criminals out of Wyomingites who own a pistol brace, while the other makes it a crime to own a homemade firearm (made from an 80% lower) that doesn’t possess a serial number. Both of these are very popular with gun owners!

Of course, Biden is counting on Wyoming cops to help enforce this tyrannical garbage as he simply doesn’t have the manpower to do it on his own.
That’s why the politicians in Cheyenne need to pass SAPA legislation, which would deny Biden the cooperation he is counting on and require Wyoming cops to enforce Wyoming laws when it comes to firearms, ammunition, and accessories.
This is Wyoming. We are a sovereign state. And in cases where state law and federal law contradict, our legislature has the duty to tell the federal government to pound sand!
The Supreme Court has upheld this concept for hundreds of years, consistently ruling that it’s illegal for the federal government to simply ‘commandeer’ state resources for its own use.
But before Wyomingites can be protected from Biden’s Executive Orders, the legislature needs to pass this bill into law. But after the moderates in the State Senate sabotaged and then killed SAPA last year, passing it will be a fight!

Without SAPA, everything that you and I have accomplished here in Wyoming over the years could be undone by an out-of-control federal government and our tyrannical President who wants to pass gun control by Executive Orders!
Lawmakers in Missouri understand this. And that’s why the Missouri legislature passed SAPA law earlier this year. They knew that SAPA is the only thing that can stand between gun owners and Biden’s crazy gun control agenda.
I don’t know about you, but I think that if the Missouri legislature could make time to pass SAPA for gun owners in Missouri, the Wyoming legislature could make time to do the same thing for gun owners here in Wyoming.
And with these Executive Orders scheduled to take effect early next year, there’s no time to waste!
That’s why I hope you’ll sign your petition, to make sure your elected officials know that passing SAPA is a TOP PRIORITY for you in 2022!

It’s an election year. And with that dynamic on the one hand, and Biden’s Executive Orders creating pressure on the other, we may be able to force the legislature to take action. But we’ll need to crank up the heat — just like we did for Constitutional Carry!
